2012 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 4dr Sdn TC-SST MR â€" 2.0L inline-4 DOHC with variable valve control and an intercooled turbo, delivering 291 hp through a 6-speed Auto-Shift manual; premium gasoline is recommended and the Evo balances its high-output character with reasonably efficient highway manners.

Steering wheelâ€"mounted cruise control keeps highway driving relaxed by holding your chosen speed, which reduces fatigue on long runs and can help stabilize fuel consumption.

The full-time all-wheel drive system constantly routes torque to all four wheels for predictable traction, giving you more confidence when accelerating or carving through challenging weather and road surfaces.

Variable valve timing helps the engine breathe more effectively across the rev range, improving low-end responsiveness while supporting stronger performance and cleaner, more efficient operation at higher RPMs.

The intercooled turbocharger supplies denser, cooler air to the cylinders, yielding sharper throttle response and brisker acceleration when you call for it, without sacrificing everyday drivability.

A DOHC valvetrain allows the engine to rev more freely and extract stronger top-end power, translating to a livelier, more engaging driving experience when you push the Evo harder.

The compact inline four-cylinder configuration delivers a spirited power-to-weight balance while typically offering lower running costs and easier maintenance than larger engines.

Using premium fuel helps the turbocharged motor reach its intended performance and efficiency, keeping throttle response crisp and allowing the engine to operate at peak output.

Sequential multi-point electronic fuel injection provides precise fueling for reliable cold starts, smoother throttle transitions and efficient combustion across a variety of conditions.

Wireless audio streaming lets you play your music and podcasts without cables, so you can enjoy hands-free entertainment and keep the cabin clutter-free on every drive.

High-intensity discharge low-beam headlamps produce a bright, daylight-like beam for improved nighttime visibility and reduced eye strain on after-dark journeys.

An ignition immobilizer adds a passive layer of security so the vehicle will not start without the correct key, helping deter theft and offering extra peace of mind.

Digital/analog instrumentation combines clear numeric readouts with traditional needle gauges, giving you fast, intuitive access to vital information while keeping the cockpit focused and familiar.

The 2012 Lancer Evolution TC-SST MR is built for drivers who want razor-sharp handling, turbocharged punch and confidence-inspiring grip in varied conditions. It blends performance-focused hardware with useful tech and security features, making it a compelling choice for enthusiasts who still appreciate everyday usability â€" contact us to schedule a test drive or to learn more

Honestly it is a great car

by Matt on 4/10/2026 8:27:18 PM

I’ve had my (used) 2016 lancer es for about a year now, and at 140k miles, it’s running like an absolute champ still. Drive is smooth and responsive, speakers sound awesome (somehow there’s actually a lot of bass for no sub, no upgraded system here other than the headunit I put in). On paper it looks like compared to the 2018 ford focus S I had it would not perform as good, but this base-model lancer is more responsive and fun to drive honestly. Oh, and it looks actually stylish, like nice wash and every time I click unlock in my remote it lights up like “drive me brothaa.” Sounds cheesy, but for a nice car, nice looking car too (I have the silver model), for thisss price? Common man you can’t beat it. Working on anything has been cake, changing the air filters takes no effort at all, swapping out the radio easy peasy, oil change no biggie..it’s easy to work on too. Takes 15 gallons of gas and mileage is actually quite great for long trips. I recommend this car…WHY did Mitsubishi stop making lancers??…
