Excellent-but not perfect

I picked up my new 2022 CRV Hybrid Touring model in late September, 2022. The 2023 model was already being sold. But, when I ordered in August the wait would have been too long. Having now owned and driven the compact SUV for almost three and a half tears I must say it is really a good vehicle: 35 mpg approximately year round, including Dutchess County New York winters. The pickup is very good compared to the standard CRV my daughter had which she then replaced with a 2023 CRV Hybrid. The brakes are good. The front seats are comfortable. And the rear seats appear to be fine though they have primarily been utilized to transport now 4 and 8 year old grandchildren in car seats. The only concern I have is with the controls. I am an older driver and find that I need to set climate controls, in particular, before I drive. The radio settings also require some care if I switch sources. But…I maintain the vehicle according to my trusted mechanic’s (Metric Motors) advice and scrupulously change oil. I have had no repai issues through the furst 50K of ownership.…

I love this CRV! Only scheduled maintenance so far, and the Hybrid battery is still providing about 35 mpg outside of the winter months. That is the only downside, the gas mileage during cold weather is more like 26-27 mpg, but from what I understand, this is common for all hybrids. It's very comfortable, drives nice with good enough acceleration. Handles the snow well. Everything seems to be aging well. I highly recommend this vehicle!!!…
