2016 Kia Soul vs 2016 Honda HR-V

2016 Kia Soul vs. 2016 Honda HR-V

The 2016 Kia Soul is fun to drive, is packed with advanced technology and has more surprises than ever before. Compare it to the 2016 Honda HR-V today.

The starting MSRP price for the 2016 Kia Soul base comes in at just $15,900, while the 2016 Nissan Juke S is quite a bit more at $19,215. The destination charge for the Soul will run you $850 and $900 for the Juke. If you were to get both vehicles comparably equipped, the Soul's price would go up to $16,750, still quite lower than the Juke, which raises to $20,115.

The Soul and HR-V are pretty evenly matched once you step inside. With standard seating for 5, standard manual air conditioning, titling steering column and auxiliary jack. However, the Soul has 6 speakers, while the HR-V only has 4, so that auxiliary jack will provide a more enjoyable music experience in the Soul. The Soul has standard overhead console storage, while this is not available in the Honda.

The Kia Soul and Honda HR-V are dead even in the mechanical department. Both are front wheel drive with disc brakes front and rear. Independent suspension in the front and semi-independent in the rear.
