2016 Kia Optima vs 2016 Honda Accord

The 2016 Kia Optima is a sleek blend of performance, technology and attitude. Compare it to the 2016 Honda Accord.

The 2016 Kia Optima comes loaded with standard features such as alloy wheels, auto-off headlights, rear camera display and power adjustable rearview mirrors. The Accord holds its own, coming with these features as well, however the Accord does not have power heated exterior mirros like the Optima. This allows the Optima owner to have complete clear vision on the cold snowy days, as snow and ice will not build up on the mirrors adding a level of safety above the Accord.

Both the 2016 Optima and Accord pack features such as an interior air filtration system, remote keyless entry, cruise control and more. However, the Optima has many other features available that you will not find in the Accord. Features include a multi-adjustable driver's seat, power driver's seat memory settings, memory exterior mirrors, manual air conditioning and satellite radio.

As for the work horse under the hood, the Optima and Accord are extremely similar. They both have 2.4L I4 engines, making 185 horsepower, this horsepower is achieved at 6000 RPM for the Optima, and 6400 RPM for the Accord. Both engines run on unleaded fuel which is directly injected into the I4 engine.
